Welcome to the BLOCKPARTY

Not only is Mason a huge offensive threat to other teams, but he also posses as a very strong defender under the basket.

Below is a video of Mason with a huge block on rival Kendal Marshall. Duke fought back a large deficit to come back and win the game in dramatic fashion.

Huge Wins!

Mason Plumlee has lead his number 2 Duke team to an 8-0 start of the season. If huge wins over top ranked Kentucky and Louisville were not enough, add beating #5 ranked Ohio State into that mix all before the end of November. Wins over 3 top ranked teams in one season is very rare for many teams, but not for Duke. All are factors as to why Mason Plumee should be Player of the Year!

Three of a kind

The Plumlee brothers all wear the Duke uniform. During the 2011-2012 season, all three brothers played for Duke. While the youngest brother, Marshall, was being red-shirted and not playing, Mason and oldest brother Miles were huge contributors to the success Duke had.

Player of the Year

Mason Plumlee should be selected at Player of the Year (POY) for college basketball because his has had the most impact on his team, more than any other player at the collegiate level. He is averaging 20 points a game and 11 rebounds per game. Not only is he effective this year, but he has shown constant improvement during his four years at Duke.
